About Us

Zuber's Homestead Hotel is a landmark in the Midwest. Visited by
thousands of guests from around the world— first as visitors coming to the
seven Amana villages during the communal days by train, later as dining
customers to the famous Bill Zuber's Dugout Restaurant and now rave
reviews are given as it has been lovingly transformed once again into a hotel.
The original character of our 1850's hotel has been preserved, yet all
the modern amenities have been added.
Our guests enjoy our rooms and suites, each boasting a uniquely
designed prairie theme influenced by our local landmarks, wildlife and
the natural beauty of Iowa.
David and Yana Cutler , the proud owners, welcome you to enjoy a
memorable lodging experience. The Cutlers came to the Amanas in 1992
and fell in love with the European style villages located in the Iowa
River Valley. Yana, originally from the Czech Republic, is familiar with the
European standards set in the hospitality business. David, formerly from the
Sun Valley Ski Region of Idaho, knows how important it is to meet each
guest's expectations. David designed, contracted and headed the renovation
that would for eight months breathe new life into the historic structure.
		Zuber's Homestead Hotel's mission
: To create a memorable lodging experience by catering
to the every need of our guests.
