The Walnut Grove Suite shares a common Loft area suited for family gatherings just across from the Iowa Grand Oak Suite. Each Amana village at one time had a planted walnut grove and pine grove which provided a wind break from the strong winds protecting each village, as well as a source of hardwood for the beautiful Amana style furniture. The exposed hand hewn beams in the ceiling add warmth and the iron and tile furniture give this suite a spacious relaxed atmosphere allowing each guest to stretch out in comfort on the sofa or bar pub chairs.
