You’ll only need one bowl to make this awesome cake!
Recipe: Awesome Chocolate Applesauce Cake
BEAT TOGETHER:
½ c. shortening
1 ½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
2 c. flour
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
3 T. cocoa
Mix ingredients well. Pour in 9×13-inch greased baking dish.
SPRINKLE ON TOP:
3 T. sugar
chopped nuts
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
