Innkeeper Bonnie has a suggestion for this recipe – sprinkle the apples with cinnamon!

Apple Crisp

4 or 5 med. size apples
¾ c. brown sugar
½ c. flour
¾ c. oatmeal
½ c. oleo

Set oven at 350°. Lightly grease an 8-inch round or square pan. Cut apples in slices and put in pan. Mix oats, sugar and flour. Mix butter in, mixture will be crumbly. Put mixture on apples. Bake about 35 minutes.
