1/3 c. margarine
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raw chopped apples
Topping
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. finely chopped nuts
Cream shortening and sugar. Add milk, beaten egg, and butter flavoring. Combine dry ingredients and add. Peel, core, and dice apples very fine and add. Place in greased muffin pans or paper baking cups.
Topping: Prepare topping. Sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
